Thursday, May 17th. Field Meeting.
Monsal Dale. 3.7 miles, beginning at White Lodge Car Park, with a steep, but unrushed climb through the woods, followed by easy walking and a return via the river. Plenty of birds and flowers.

Meet at the Town Hall at 10.00 a.m.

Friday, May 18th. Evening Field Meeting.
A local walk of a couple of miles, including The Torrs, Goytside Meadows and the Peak Forest Canal. There should be a good selection of late spring flowers.

Holidays in 2012.
1. Forest of Dean & Wye Valley. Seven nights, in a hotel at Coleford, beginning Tuesday, May 22nd. Nine members are staying there, with two others nearby.
2. Morecambe Bay. Four nights from Monday, September 10th. Eleven members have now booked.
